We routinely respond to incidents including, groundings, collisions, refugee stories, crew injuries and deaths, engine failures, stowaways, rescues at sea, fires, allegations of criminal activity (including drug transportation) and more.

One third of the incidents we respond to are managed so that they never receive any attention in the media or on social media, and about 55% are controlled so they receive less than 50 mentions; only about 12% of our incidents ever receive wider interest.

Our clients’ wish for privacy is one of our highest priorities, and we do not provide details on actual incidents that we have responded to; instead the case studies in this section provide generalised details of our methods of response for a range of maritime situations.
