Andrew has 16 years of experience in the media, with a wealth of knowledge in broadcast journalism and media training. For 11 years he worked as a television reporter in Australia for a major network covering stories of national and international significance including the Black Saturday Bush Fires and the Victorian Floods. He interviewed Prime Ministers and CEO’s of some of Australia’s largest companies and is an expert in the news cycle. Andrew regularly reported directly from crisis management centers during major disasters. His role also included Chief of Staffing, organising logistics for journalists and crews and liaising with political, government and private entities to facilitate newsgathering.
More recently Andrew has acted as a media consultant in crisis management and media training for a number of companies and universities in Singapore. Raised in Papua New Guinea and having lived in Vanuatu, Australia, Malaysia and now Singapore, he has a unique understanding of the physical and cultural challenges of working in remote environments and has a certificate in hostile environments training. Andrew prides himself on being able to communicate effectively with anyone on any level.
